Crackley Hall School on the outskirts of Kenilworth is the exciting junior department of the Warwickshire Catholic Independent Schools Foundation and we welcome boys and girls of all denominations. Many of our pupils go on to nearby Princethorpe College when they are 11. Children may be dropped off from 8am and can stay at school until 6pm.
Respecting and nurturing individuality
Crackley Hall encourages hard work, fun, fairness, tolerance and independent thinking. We respect and nurture each child’s individuality whilst also insisting on good manners. Crackley Hall is famed for its high standards of pastoral care and there is a keen sense of togetherness between pupils, staff and parents.
Individual attention
Children can start in Little Crackers Nursery from 2¾ and attendance times are flexible with no minimum requirement. Our OFSTED inspection in January 2005 reported that “teaching is excellent” and all aspects of the Nursery were judged to be “very good”.
Small class sizes
At Crackley Hall, our small class sizes help us to adapt our teaching methods to the needs of each child. We place great emphasis on developing key skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, mathematics and science. The learning of tables and spellings is actively developed and your children will be taught by specialists in French, music and games.
Encouraging independent thinking
Pupils are never far from networked computers either in their own classrooms or in the purpose-built ICT suite.
Friendly and fun
Children are encouraged to take part in a full range of team and individual sports. Clubs such as art, chess, craft, gardening, food or textiles build confidence and self-esteem. We have a strong music department and all children participate in concerts and stage productions which enrich their learning experience.
