Thorns Infant School is situated in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. It is a small town close to Leamington Spa and Coventry. Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace is only 20 miles away.

Thorns School was opened in September 1957 as a one form entry Primary School. In 1976 education in Warwickshire was reorganised and Thorns became a first school, taking children from the age of 4 to 8.

Following further reorganisation by Warwickshire in 1996, Thorns became an infant school, with children from 4+ to 7+ attending.
