Older People In Action
Older People in Action is a charity that informs and consults with older people across Warwick District to help ensure they live a happy, independent life well into their later years. OPA also works closely with the agencies (voluntary, private and statutory) that support older people. Activities include:
• Information meetings which are open to OPA members, the general public and local agencies where speakers talk about relevant and topical subjects.
• Consultations with older people to identify their aspirations and needs. Any issues which arise from consultations are fed back to the relevant organisations to ensure action is taken where possible to improve the lives of older people.
• Campaigning on behalf of older people and older people’s groups to ensure they receive fair and just services and treatment.
Anyone is welcome to join OPA. Membership is free and your level of involvement is entirely up to you. Just call 01926 477517 for more informationCharity no. 1138801
