The Warwick District Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 28 January 2015. The Secretary of State appointed Mr Kevin Ward BA (Hons) MRTPI to conduct an independent Examination of the Plan.

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 25 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 that on 28 July 2017, Warwick District Council received the Inspector’s Report on the Examination of the Warwick District Local Plan. The Report sets out the Inspector’s recommendations and his reasons for them.

The Inspector’s Report concludes that the Warwick District Local Plan provides an appropriate basis for the planning of the District provided that a number of main modifications are made.
